‘Dil Tangle’ (Voice of Tangale) is a platform that targets Tangale sons and daughters (both at home and in the diaspora) with relevant information and messages. The information provided might also be useful to researchers on Tangale, and other users.
Undoubtedly, the culture, norms, and traditions of the Tangale people are being eroded by the day. Founders of ‘Dil Tangle’ therefore, took it upon themselves to float the platform as a deliberate effort to help remedy the situation, by promoting the Tangale legacies including the language, the rich culture, and other traditions.
‘Dil Tangle’ will also fulfill the basic desire for communication and self-expression, by bringing relevant information and issues on rights, development, democracy, and accountability that speak to the needs of the Tangale people.
In broad terms, ‘Dil Tangle’ seeks to achieve three main objectives:
- Unveiling and preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the Tangale people
- Expression and promotion of Tangale cultural, political, artistic, and religious voices.
- Enrichment and empowerment of Tangale communities, as well as its sons and daughters.
Also, taking the form of community media, ‘Dil Tangle’ will train and assign roles to interested individuals in multimedia production, operation, and program development. Youths and women will also get an equal chance to participate.
‘Dil Tangle’ will remain responsive to the needs of the Tangale community and consistently seek input from its audience.
